This Is Real Now (My Once and Future Love series news)

So. Things are changing. Jacob and Beth are getting a new home.

Willowick Publishing is re-publishing the series in paperback. This means all current versions are coming down very soon.

The series has been edited into four novellas, changed into 3rd Person POV throughout, had a few scenes added, and what you've known as Book 3 is now Book 5. Still the last book of the series, and coming in 2014.

If you're part of my Street Team or get my Newsletter, you already knew this was coming, but now I can show cover art.

This is #1, officially releasing on November 3rd for $6.99 USD. It'll be on Amazon by then.

Thanks to everyone that has supported Jacob and Beth. This couldn't have happened without you.

Spotlight - A Touch of Darkness by Tina Moss and Yelena Casale

Cassie’s working for a tightwad boss at a pretentious NYC diner, dealing with paralyzing pain that doctors can’t diagnose, and trying to hide her hands that glow purple whenever she ...well, whenever.

So, when a mysterious stranger walks out of her dreams and into her life to spout some nonsense about her being a mythical creature, she chalks it up to one more crazy thing to add to her it’s-a-crappy-life list. Yet, when the stranger’s predictions start to come true, she discovers a world that could shake up her humdrum existence.

Excerpt:

Nightfall couldn’t come fast enough for Gabe. Hours of grating silence with nothing more than her intermittent nagging had worn down his last bit of patience. And now this? He brushed the back of his hand across his mouth as if to wipe away the remnants of her kiss. What the hell does she want from me?

Shifting off the bench, he paced the parking lot at a feverish rate. The fire she ignited in his blood would not extinguish. “Damn woman,” he muttered, kicking a soda can across the pavement. Abruptly, he paused. Soft dings like raindrops on tin echoed in his mind. He struggled to interpret the distant ringing.

“I’m coming,” he said to the summons. “Soon.”

The noise grew louder, a baser clanging only he could hear. It led him toward Cassie’s direction. A profound purple glow began to radiate around her body as she slept. He focused, gritting his teeth and fighting back the growing chimes.

“No,” he cried low, not wanting to attract attention. “She’s not strong enough yet to bring you through. It’s why we’re here. We’ll use a point of power.”

The ringing reached its crescendo. He battled the tide. His hands clasped in tight fists. The electric blue energy buzzed deep inside him, threatening to explode. “We do this my way, or not at all.”

Blog Hop Interview - Tag!

Blog Hop Interview

I was tagged for this blog post by Sotia Lazu.

What are you working on right now?
Secret project. And what seems like forever, but Jacob/Beth's last book. Don't even go into my WIP folders.....too many stories.

How does it differ from other works in its genre?
Jacob/Beth - It's the HEA of a romance series featuring one couple. A saga.

Why do you write what you do?
It's what's in my head. If I wrote like someone else, I'd be someone else. Each writer has a voice. My main goal/style is realism. I don't believe in love at first sight - that's attraction. Love comes from getting to know someone.

How does your writing process work?
Seat of the pants. I get an idea - a scene, a premise, two characters - and just start. If it's a romance, then the goal is the couple together at the end. If it's fantasy, then my hero(ine) has to defeat the bad guy. Then it comes as it's meant to. Probably a boring answer, but I ain't fancy.

I wouldn't know who else to tag, so I'm not passing this on, but feel free to run with it if you're inspired.
